The Point Light is similar to the Directional Light, but depends on the distance. It is also a light source that shines in all directions, like an bulb.
The distance property determines how far the light travels from the source before its intensity property is Zero. distance=”5″ means that the light’s brightness slowly decreases to Zero at a distance of 5.
<a-light type="point" color="#EEE" intensity="1.5" distance="20" position="-5 5 5"></a-light>
In the above example if the light is away 20, no light reaches the objects at point Zero. Since our position is 5, it is a dark light.
In the left picture the distance is set to 20, in the right example to 100 with the same position=”-5 5 5″
